Created in 1915, by world renowned Raffles Bartender, Ngiam Tong Boon, the Singapore Sling is today one of the world’s most famous cocktails. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of this iconic cocktail, Sipsmith, the passionate pioneers of London’s handcrafted gin renaissance, teamed up with Raffles Hotels & Resorts in 2015 to create a bespoke Raffles 1915 Gin. Raffles 1915 Gin contains a sensational blend of botanicals inspired by the Malaysian Peninsula. Jasmine flowers, fresh pomelo peel, lemongrass, Kaffir lime, nutmeg and cardamom are distilled alongside the classic gin botanicals of juniper, coriander and orris root that are found in the award-winning Sipsmith London Dry Gin. The result is a smooth full-bodied spirit, with the warmth of sweet orange spice coupled with an elegant, bright and balanced finish.
