Hakushu 25 Years Japanese Single Malt Whisky; a very rare and truly fabulous peated Japanese whisky from Hakushu Distillery.
This 25 year old was awarded a Silver Medal at the Malt Maniac Awards in 2009.
| Nose: | A smouldering, smoky nose with toffee apples, rancio, Armagnac, ginger and nutmeg. |
| Palate: | A rich, sherried palate with wood smoke, linseed, rhubarb and custard sweets, raspberries and walnut. A hint of spearmint develops. |
| Finish: | A long, herbal, nutty finish with bittersweet oak on the tail. |
