Our Organic Grand Vin de Bourgogne, CLOS LA MARCHE MONOPOLE is a Mercurey characterised by great minerality, elegance and lightness.
The first impression on the palate is worthy of a premier cru, and the finish is long and fresh.
CLOS LA MARCHE MONOPOLE is a red wine from a 3.48 hectare monopole with south-east exposure.
This climate of Burgundy owes its name to the limestone slab, raised by tectonic plate movements, on which it is situated. The soil, hard and barely 30cm deep, consists of 50 acres of marl, at the top of the Clos.
A 100% Pinot Noir grape variety, CLOS LA MARCHE MONOPOLE is made from 60-year-old vines on almost 2 hectares of the plot and young vines replanted on the remaining 1.5 hectares.
This climate produces wines of great finesse and elegance.
